Ties in the league table (thus pertaining to City playoffs) will be broken as follows.
a) in a two way tie, the winner of the league game will determine the higher position .
b) in a three way tie, if league results between the teams cannot determine order, a coin toss (to be conducted by the Commissioner) will determine which team places highest of the three. Of the remaining two, the winner of the league game between the two will determine the higher position.
c) in a four way tie, if league results between the teams cannot determine order, two playoff games (opponents to be drawn from a hat) will take place on Tuesday, February 18 at a neutral site. The subsequent winners and losers will then be placed depending on the league result(s) between the two.
d) There is at present no provision for a five way tie. Coaches will be consulted for input nearer the end of league play if this scenario remains a possibility.
Please note again that when possible, placings will be determined by LEAGUE results. At no time will points for and against factor into placings.
ALL TEAMS MUST PHONE IN RESULTS OF GAMES ON FEBRUARY 15 TO IAN HYDE-LAY BY 9.00PM THAT EVENING IN ORDER THAT PLAYOFF INFORMATION MAY BE SENT OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
