| GAME 4 - UTEP Miners v HAWAI'I Rainbow Warriors (6:30 p.m. HST) | ||||||||||||||||||
| The best game of the night was the last one as the Rainbow Warriors delighted the home-town fans with a 67-63 victory and in doing so earned the last semi-final berth. | ||||||||||||||||||
| UTEP had a strong first half and were up six at 37-31 only to see Hawai'i put together a better second half of 36-26. Net result… their eight win of the season. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Rainbow Warriors are in tough and the #21 ranked Huskies defense made it a brutal first half for Hawai'i as the Warriors shot a measly 7-31 (23%) which includes a 1-14 (7%) from beyond the arc. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Washington's 6' 9" freshman, and McDonald's All-American, Isaiah Stewart has proved to be nightmare in the paint for Hawai'i and they seem to have no answer. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Stewart is only 8-12 for a team high 16 points leading the Huskies to a 37-22 lead. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Hawai'i came out strong with an 8-0 run to start the second half. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Teams going back and forth but Hawai'i has climbed back into it as the Huskies have seen their great first half lead dwindle to a mere six points with 9:25 to go. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Valiant effort but Washington was just too much for Hawai'i. Hawai'i did string a few together near the end but it was too little and too late. | ||||||||||||||||||
