(Honolulu, Hawai’i) Game 6 of the Diamond Head Classic, semi-final # 1, will see the winner of game 1, Indiana State (6-3), playing the winner of game 2, San Diego State (10-1). Game time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. HST on Sunday December 23, 2012.

Indiana State is playing some inspired ball as at the half they are down only three at 28-25. Indiana State is doing as well as they are in large part to San Diego State's woeful shooting from the floor. In the first half SD shot a pitiful 20% from behind the arc.

Toe-to-toe for the 2nd half as the teams have been going back and fourth at each other with them exchanging leads in the first five minutes.

Indiana State leads by three with 12 minutes to go.

San Diego State drops a big 3-pointer to tie the game with 10 to go. First bucket by SDS in 5:36.

Tied at 40 with 8:10 to go.

Tied at 42 with 6:45 to go. Teams are very evenly matched and are battling hard.

San Diego State was able to string a couple buckets together and hold a 4-point lead with less than :30 to go.

San Diego State hangs on to win by seven and advance to the final.

The game was won at the foul-line as SD State went 18-28 compared to Indiana State's 9-10.

The win extends SD State's win streak to 11 games.
