(Honolulu, Hawai’i) Game 2 of the Diamond Head Classic will see San Diego State (9-1) playing San Francisco (5-4). Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. HST on Saturday December 22, 2012.

San Diego State enters the game riding a 9-game winning streak.

Game is late starting with Game 1 after Indiana State beat Ole Miss in overtime, 87-85.  Game 1 started 40 minutes late.

At the half, State leads 38-33 as San Francisco has done a good job to stay close.  San Francisco's Cody Doolin dropped a trey at the buzzer to cut the Aztecs lead to five points.

San Diego State is having a tough time dealing with San Francisco's 6' 11" Tao Xu that is planted in the middle of the key.

In the 2nd half San Francisco made it close - got it to within 2 points 47-45.  The down side is that is that State stepped it up and said enough.

Final score as a blow-out at 80-58.  State earned their 10th straight win and a berth into semi-final # 1 against Indiana State tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.
