NSA Canada Tournament Rules
UMPIRE'S JUDGMENT IS FINAL.
Any abuse WHATSOEVER of an official will not be tolerated.  If you yap, you will be tossed.
Umpires will have an OFFICIAL LINE-UP CARD on which both teams will fill out their starting line-up.
Subs can be added to the line-up card at any time during the game.
The umpire will keep the score inning by inning on BOTH SIDES of the OFFICIAL LINE-UP CARD.
At the end of the game the WINNING team will turn this card in to the tournament committee.
This card, and only this card, will be accepted as the game result.  No scoresheets are
to be turned it.  Keep them.  All that is to be turned in is the OFFICIAL LINE-UP CARD.
ALL INNINGS ARE OPEN.
No inning can start after the time limit is reached - umpire's judgment.
No new innings after, 70-Minutes on Saturday and 80-minutes on Sunday - umpire's judgment.
TEAMS CAN BAT 11 or 12.
NO INFIELD BALLS AT ALL AFTER THE 1st INNING.
MERCY RULE IS AS FOLLOWS
20 after 3, 15 after 4, 12 after 5 or 6.
HOME TEAM DOES NOT BAT JUST FOR THE SAKE OF RUNS.
START GAMES PROMPTLY.  LET'S STAY ON TIME.
KEEP TEAMS HUSTLING ON AND OFF THE FIELD.
If teams don't hustle, the umps will end the pitcher's warm-up + call the batter.
IF A TEAM IS REDUCED TO 9 PLAYERS FOR WHATEVER REASON,
INCLUDING EJECTION, the game will go on with an automatic out.
HOME PLATE IS LIVE.
YOU CANNOT "RUN" A DEFENSIVE PLAYER AT ANYTIME.
If you do, you'll be tossed.  We all have to go back to work when it's over.
COURTESY RUNNERS ARE ALLOWED - 1 per inning, no carry-over.
  1 runner per inning, no carry-over to the next inning.  If you don't use it you lose it.
5 & 1 up homerun rule is in effect.
A homerun is an "untouched" ball over the outfield fence.
UNIFORM RULE is in effect.  If one team has matching jerseys
and the other team does not, then the matching team will have option of home/visitors.
Outside of the uniform rule, home/visitor is decided by a double toss (except OPEN final).
PROTESTS MUST BE DEALT WITH IMMEDIATELY.
$75 charge (payable in CASH) which will be refunded if you win your protest.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make
decisions in the best interest of the tournament as a whole.

DO NOT complain if you don't like the answer.
