| Thanksgiving slo-pitch is finally here! For 2010 we have 36 teams competing, | |
| that's the largest event McGirr has ever held. For prizing this year there is | |
| more than $3700 in cash and more than 50 sets of prizing! | |
| There are 18 sets of custom t-shirts up for grabs - half the teams in every playoff | |
| division will get a set of the custom shirts… just depends of where you finish. | |
| Some of the custom shirts will also be available in the 21 daily raffle draws. | |
| Barring forfeits and weather, every team is guaranteed six games as well as | |
| EVERY team will win a set of prizes - regardless of where you place! | |
| On the Saturday night, there will be tournament party at the Old City Station Pub. | |
| The Canucks will be on the big screen in their season opener, we will also be | |
| doing a bunch of sports trivia questions and giving away over 100 prizes! | |
| Tournament party starts at 7:00 p.m. on the Saturday night. | |
| The Old City Station Pub is located at 150 Skinner St. in downtown Nanaimo, | |
| walking distance from the host hotel, the Howard Johnson Harbourside. | |
